Step 1 -
Start the EzTrade Server install application.
Step 2 -
Provide the Static IP address of the machine that will be the primary
EzTrade Web Server. (Total time from start of install to completion
of this step...less than 1 minute.)
Step 3 -
Provide your Master Trading Partner Code
that was provided to you by Systems Online. (Total time from start
of install to completion of this step...less than 2 minutes.)
Step 4 -
Specify a short and long version of your company name. This information
will be displayed to your trading partners when they trade with you.
(Total time from start of install to completion of this step...less
than 3 minutes.)
Step 5 -
Specify the directory you wish to install to. EzTrade server can be
installed to an existing web or a new web. The choice is yours. You
can even install to a virtual directory. (Total time from start of
install to completion of this step...less than 4 minutes.)
Step 6 -
Start copying files (takes 3 to 5 minutes.) (Total time from start of
install to completion of this step...less than 9 minutes.)
Step 7 - Create an ADO connection to
either Oracle or MSSQL to tell EzTrade Server where you want to store
your Trading Partner information and trading history. You will be
required to execute a SQL Script provided on your setup disk. This SQL
Script will create the appropriate tables and configure the selected
database for use by EzTrade. (Total time from start of install to
completion of this step...less than 10 minutes.)
Step 8 - You will need to verify the
security and permissions settings for your new EzTrade Server
installation directory. (Total time from start of install to
completion of this step...less than 12 minutes.)
Step 9 - In addition to installing
your EzTrade Server software, EzTrade Server Setup installed an
internet for your companies internal use. The intranet is used to
visually view and manage transactions that have been sent and received
as well as manage your trading history. You must log onto the new
Intranet and configure valid users passwords and access rights for your
company's employees (Total time from start of install to completion
of this step...less than 25 minutes.)
Step 10 - Start EzTrade Forms
Designer and either publish our sample forms or design your own
personalized forms and transactions (Total time from start of
install to completion of this step...less than 35 minutes.)
Step 11 - Optional - Script or map
all or one of your forms to automatically import transactions as they
are received. The amount of time required to script a form to a
data-source varies. For more information on scripting and mapping you
can review the Mapping Wizard Sample for EzTrade Client. (Total time from start
of install to completion of this step may vary...total time to complete
our demonstration was less than 54 minutes.)
Finished - Your trading partners can
now begin trading with you. Automatically your trading partners will be
updated with your forms or Transactions Set and can complete
transactions and engage in e-commerce.
